The Silent Investor EA MT5 combines structural breakouts, volatility expansion and local price reactions on one XAUUSD M15 chart. Its three engines look for different gold setups, while portfolio controls let you choose position sizing, session restrictions and account-level stopping conditions.
Three approaches to trading gold
- Structural breakout: higher-timeframe support and resistance provide context for pending breakout entries.
- Volatility expansion: an M15 momentum engine looks for movement beyond the recent range.
- Local reaction: a shorter-term engine targets price extremes and exhaustion.
The developer describes separate stop-loss protection without grid, martingale or unlimited averaging. Different entry rules do not remove their shared exposure to gold: several positions can still lose together.
Position sizing and account controls
Choose fixed lots or percentage-based sizing, with a maximum lot cap. RiskGuard provides a daily loss threshold, peak-equity drawdown threshold, equity target and minimum equity floor. Optional closing on a trigger determines whether existing trades are closed as well as new entries stopped.
