Build a breakout portfolio in MetaTrader 5
Ultimate Breakout System EA MT5 by Profalgo is a configurable breakout toolkit for traders who want to select, test and combine strategies. Its appeal is the control over entries, exits and portfolio sizing across gold, Forex, indices and Bitcoin, with presets providing a starting point for testing.
What makes UBS different?
- Three documented entry models: support/resistance breakouts, volatility breakouts and opening-range breakouts in the current developer release.
- OneChartSetup: AutoLoader can manage a collection of compatible set files from one chart and backtest them together.
- Configurable exits: stop loss, take profit and several trailing methods let you adapt trade management to the strategy.
- Portfolio controls: individual strategy settings, trading windows and sizing options help you assemble a portfolio rather than rely on one default setup.
- Public learning resources: the developer provides a manual and preset archive, with a current listing advertising 300+ strategies.
These describe the current developer documentation. Presets are starting points, not a promise of profitable results. Check feature compatibility with your installed build before loading newer configurations.
Choose settings that fit your account
Start with a small selection of strategies and test them using your broker’s symbols, spreads and trading sessions. Multiple gold or index presets can lose together, so assess combined exposure as well as each strategy’s backtest. Historical drawdown-based sizing is an estimate, not a guaranteed loss ceiling.
For AutoLoader, the manual uses MT5’s Common/Files/Sets folder. The developer says the built-in MQL5 VPS cannot transfer those external set files; a full Windows VPS is the practical option for that workflow. This limitation is specific to the portfolio loader.
Evidence before you choose
The developer publishes a 44-strategy MT5 portfolio signal, but it represents one evolving configuration, not every preset or account. Our Ultimate Breakout System review examines the results, drawdowns, customer feedback and setup trade-offs.

Ultimate Breakout System questions
What markets can Ultimate Breakout System trade?
Its presets cover gold, Forex, indices and Bitcoin. Each strategy needs the correct broker symbol, timeframe and risk settings; one configuration is not suitable for every market.
Does it require coding?
No coding is needed to configure its inputs or load presets. Building and validating a portfolio still requires familiarity with MT5 backtesting, position sizing and strategy settings.
Can I run several strategies from one chart?
The current developer documentation describes AutoLoader / OneChartSetup for compatible presets. Use unique magic numbers, correct ForceSymbol values and explicit timeframes. Check that your installed build supports the chosen configuration.
Is it suitable for prop firm accounts?
Suitability depends on the individual firm’s rules and the portfolio’s risk. Custom settings do not guarantee acceptance or exemption from restrictions on automated, correlated or similar trades.
Where can I find the manual and presets?
The developer links a public ZIP containing the V7.0 manual and preset files from the official MQL5 listing. The release notes cover subsequent changes. These are reference materials, not proof of the version in a separately supplied EA file.
Delivery: standalone MT5 file product. Your order retains the existing Ultimate Breakout System MT5 ZIP download. The developer’s release number is not a verification of the build inside that download.
