GoldWave Ultra MT5 Review: Signal Results, Risk & Buyer Feedback

GoldWave Ultra MT5 is worth examining if you want a selective gold EA and an accessible trading record to evaluate it against. Its strongest reference is the established GoldWave signal. The key questions are how much that older record tells us about Ultra, what sits behind the high winning percentage, and how the strategy fits your trading conditions. This review examines public evidence; we have not independently traded or backtested the EA.

GoldWave Ultra, the original GoldWave, and AXIO Gold

The Ultra listing was published on 1 September 2026. It points to the same GoldWave signal as our earlier GoldWave review and explicitly connects Ultra’s core logic to that account. This gives readers a useful continuity reference, but the whole account history should not be presented as a test of the newly listed Ultra build.

The reason for the relisting is not explained in the public material checked. We have not assumed that an earlier purchase transfers to Ultra or that the two files and presets are identical. The original GoldWave product remains separately listed on CheaperForex.

AXIO Gold EA MT5 is another product from Shengzu Zhong. Our AXIO Gold review provides a separate comparison. Running two gold robots can increase exposure to the same market even if their entries differ; it is not automatically a hedge.

How to judge a selective trading system

Ultra’s positioning is patient rather than constantly active. For the buyer, the useful distinction is between an EA deliberately waiting for a setup and one that cannot trade because its terminal, data connection or permissions are wrong. Keep a record of its status and journal messages before changing settings simply to encourage more activity.

M1 describes the monitoring chart. It does not set a one-minute holding period. Evaluate entry frequency, time in a position and exposure separately, rather than labelling everything attached to M1 a rapid scalper.

What the IC Markets record actually shows

Snapshot checked 10 September 2026. MQL5 labels the account Real Account, using ICMarketsSC-MT5-4 at 1:500 leverage. That is the platform’s account classification; we have not audited broker statements.

The accumulated result is positive, but the headline percentage is not the whole story. The account began small and includes later cash movements. Its history also predates Ultra’s listing and contains a small number of non-gold trades, so it is not a clean, XAUUSD-only test of this new release.

High win rate, larger occasional losses

Using the snapshot’s averages, one losing trade cost roughly 4.7 average winners ($8.17 ÷ $1.74). This is why a high hit rate alone cannot establish low risk. What matters is whether the balance between frequency and size of wins and losses survives future market conditions and your own execution costs.

Equity includes open positions; balance reflects closed results. The two drawdown percentages measure different curves and may peak at different times, so subtracting them does not tell you the size of a particular floating loss. Neither historical maximum is a future loss limit.

What the new product reviews tell us

Ultra showed four ratings and a displayed 5/5 score when checked. Three reviewers left no written explanation. The one written review, by Amit-AX on 8 September, favours independent stop/target trades over grid exposure and praises the developer. That explains a buyer preference; it does not establish how this EA performed on that reviewer’s account over a measured period.

A short new-review history deserves proportionate weight. Look for later updates that describe broker conditions, duration of use, losing periods and the selected risk settings, rather than relying solely on stars.

Signal subscribers report a different experience

The older signal-subscription reviews are mixed: some praise the trading and support, while others report slippage, missed copies or results differing from the provider. These are reviews of copying the GoldWave account, not four additional reviews of Ultra. They do not independently prove a defect in the new EA, but they are relevant when evaluating the account as sales evidence.

Copying a signal adds symbol mapping and transmission delays to the execution path. Running an EA directly is a different process, although broker prices, spreads and fills still matter. A recognised broker name on the reference account does not establish that your own account will reproduce it.

Settings and operating checks worth making

  • Read risk in cash as well as percentages. Confirm what the selected sizing mode would lose at its intended exit and allow for a worse fill.
  • Check real-time inputs. WebRequest-dependent functions cannot be reproduced in the MT5 Strategy Tester. A test limitation is not evidence of profitability; it makes forward observation more important.
  • Inspect current protection settings. The developer’s Prop Firm Gates illustration shows optional loss limits, a risk override and a cooldown. Its sample values are not a universal prop-firm preset or a guarantee of rule compliance.
  • Keep a comparison log. Record dates, entry and exit prices, costs, sizing and rejected orders. Investigate differences before increasing exposure.

The complete manual and recommended presets are described as privately supplied by the developer. No public manual download or separate release-history tab was available in the listing and discussion checked. Its linked broker-execution article is supporting commentary with broker referral links, not a product manual or an independent broker comparison.

Our assessment

Ultra offers a clear point of interest: a selective gold strategy associated with an established public account, plus a product family you can compare. The buying decision should turn on the size of losses you can accept, the practical settings available, and results under your intended conditions. The shared history is useful evidence to inspect, not proof that a newly supplied copy will repeat every trade.

GoldWave Ultra review FAQs

Is GoldWave Ultra the same as the earlier GoldWave EA?

Ultra has a separate MQL5 product listing, while both are associated with the same GoldWave signal. That establishes a connection, but not identical files, settings or licence entitlements. The public material checked does not explain the reason for the relisting.

Does a 95% win rate make GoldWave Ultra low risk?

No. Win rate needs to be assessed alongside average loss, position size, floating drawdown and execution costs. A few larger losses can offset many smaller wins.

Does M1 mean every trade is a short scalp?

No. M1 is the recommended chart for monitoring. Holding time is determined by trade management, and the linked account showed a two-hour average when checked.

Should GoldWave Ultra and AXIO be treated as diversification?

They are separate products, but both trade gold. Different entries do not guarantee independent risk; assess their combined exposure and overlapping positions before running them together.
