Au 79 EA MT5 combines fast gold scalping with slower breakout engines on one XAUUSD chart. Separate strategy exposure, protective stops and account drawdown controls are designed to coordinate these different trading horizons.
Different horizons on the same gold chart
The fast component targets short moves while breakout components wait for more sustained movement. The developer describes simultaneous opposing exposure and an internal risk-distribution mechanism. This is not the same as eliminating market risk: both sides can incur transaction costs and separate losses. The 4 September release notes confirm a fourth engine; some older paragraphs still refer to three.
Account-level protection and practical setup
The published drawdown module measures daily loss from server-midnight equity and total loss against the initial deposit. It can act at a configurable fraction of the selected threshold, with a persistent breach state and timer checks. These controls require correct settings and do not guarantee compliance with a particular trading firm. Use XAUUSD, with H1 recommended for the chart and developer-recommended capital from $500. Raw or low-spread execution is especially relevant to the scalping engine.

A linked public gold account is available, but its short history includes losing periods. Original gallery results are backtests, not customer returns.
