Gold Storm PRO EA Review: MT4 vs MT5, Signal Drawdown and Exits

Gold Storm PRO trades gold momentum with a stop loss and take profit on each position, trailing exits and an Impulse Close function that responds when momentum weakens.

Our assessment: A focused choice for traders who want gold momentum entries with responsive exits. Its appeal is straightforward trade management; the main consideration is the large drawdown already visible in the young linked record.

Momentum entries and two complementary exits

The developer describes waiting for a directional movement, then managing the position with an individual stop loss and take profit. Trailing management follows a favourable move; Impulse Close responds when the move weakens. These are different exit conditions, so their combined effect should be assessed in actual trades rather than inferred from the feature names.

What the current signal does and does not show

The seller’s live catalogue, checked on 17 September 2026, showed the linked Gold Storm PRO signal at approximately 216% growth, 120 trades over nine weeks and 49% maximum drawdown. The return therefore comes with substantial historical risk; it is not a low-drawdown record.

The seller page reports an 85% win rate and a profit factor of about 3.40. Neither cancels the drawdown: frequent winning trades can coexist with a deep equity decline. Nine weeks also leave little evidence across prolonged changes in gold volatility. These are rounded catalogue figures, not a fresh independent account audit. The full signal page was unavailable during this check, so exact current equity and trade attribution could not be inspected.

A shared signal link needs careful attribution

Earlier Golden Lotus material points to the same signal identifier. It is currently named Gold Storm PRO on the seller page. A renamed or reused account cannot automatically establish a separate track record for every associated product. We therefore keep the account name and date explicit rather than calling both EAs independently verified.

MT4 versus MT5 and broker fit

The developer specifies an ECN/RAW account, a gold spread no greater than $0.20, StopLevel no greater than $0.30, leverage of at least 1:25 and a $50 starting balance. The minimum is a compatibility guideline, not a sensible loss budget for every trader. Check the broker’s actual symbol specification and use conservative sizing.

Choose the edition that matches your terminal. There is no evidence here that merely choosing MT5 improves returns over MT4. Test each edition’s own settings and execution. In particular, a broker’s minimum stop distance can prevent the tight placement or trailing behaviour assumed by the strategy.

Customer feedback

The accessible MT5 review excerpt from August 2026 praises developer communication, testing and optimisation, while looking forward to live results. That is useful support feedback but not a long live-account record. The available excerpt does not establish the experience of every reviewer. Read the current MT5 reviews.
