Martin Angle Pro MT5 Review: Dual-Direction MT5 Hedge Grid

Martin Angle Pro runs independent buy and sell chains on one symbol, using fresh M1 candles, profit-triggered lot scaling and a combined basket-profit exit.

Our assessment: A specialised two-way progression engine, best assessed by its largest combined exposure and equity swings. It is unsuitable to describe this as a fixed-risk single-trade strategy.

Two chains, one combined outcome

Buy and sell sequences use separate identifiers and can progress independently. Their initial opposing exposure is not cost-free because both legs incur trading costs. As one chain grows, the account becomes unbalanced and a later reversal can change the basket result quickly.

How the scaling trigger differs from classic recovery

The described trigger is a floating-profit threshold in a direction. Once reached, the next larger order is queued for a fresh candle, with doubled size. This is different from adding solely because price moved against a losing position. It still needs careful exposure analysis because each doubling is much larger than the starting lot.

Combined target and automatic reset

TotalTarget refers to combined floating profit across the managed chains. Reaching it closes the basket and restarts the cycle. The relevant controls include InitialLot, FirstThreshold, TotalTarget and slippage tolerance. Thresholds expressed in money must be assessed against the account currency and symbol’s value per point.

Margin checks are not a loss ceiling

The listing describes margin checks and filling-mode detection. These reduce avoidable execution failures; they do not guarantee an adverse open basket can be recovered. A buyer should establish the actual stop behaviour in a demo run, including what happens if a new stage is refused or price gaps.

Interpreting the test curves

Two tester reports and two associated curves are available. The balance lines rise comparatively smoothly while equity shows abrupt downward excursions. That distinction matters for a basket system: closed profit can look orderly even while open exposure experiences stress. The screenshots are not a substitute for a current account with visible open positions.

Customer feedback and source scope

The MQL5 page showed no customer reviews at our 17 September 2026 check, so there are no customer-review screenshots or third-party star ratings to reproduce. No separate public manual or product-specific signal was linked. The analysis is based on the developer description and gallery, with assumptions kept separate from confirmed features.

Practical setup

Use an MT5 hedging account: simultaneous opposing positions are central to the design. The logic uses fresh one-minute candles on the selected chart symbol. The author recommends major/minor Forex pairs and advises retesting thresholds for JPY pairs or exotics. Check initial lot size, account currency, free margin and broker volume increments.

Decision points

This is a dual-direction grid with progressive sizing. The listing describes scaling a side that reaches a profit threshold, rather than simply doubling because that side lost. Even so, lot doubling can build substantial exposure. A total-profit exit is not a maximum-loss control; the public description does not establish a hard basket drawdown stop.
