Grid Martingale Pro combines EMA-cross direction with a martingale grid, weighted basket targets, economic-calendar filtering and a configurable peak-equity drawdown stop.
Our assessment: A grid system with more explicitly documented portfolio stops and event controls than a simple recovery bot. Those controls need to be enabled and tested; they do not turn progressive sizing into a low-risk strategy.

Direction and weighted basket target
An EMA crossover supplies the initial direction. Subsequent grid orders use configured spacing and lot progression, with the basket take-profit calculated from its weighted average. Increasing lot size shifts that average toward newer entries, but also concentrates risk in them.
Two distinct loss controls
The peak-equity drawdown feature is described as stopping new trading and closing the EA basket once its threshold is reached. Separately, the optional basket stop uses StopLossPoints; zero disables that stop. These are different controls and should be tested separately. A maximum grid-step count is another limit on additions, not a substitute for either exit.
News windows and daily target
The MT5 economic calendar can pause new trading around high-impact events, with an option to close the basket. A daily equity-profit target can also stop new grids, optionally closing the current basket. The day resets on broker/server time, so a local calendar date may not match the EA’s trading day.
Test interrupted and stressed conditions
Calendar availability, widened spreads and failed close requests can change behaviour during volatile periods. Demo checks should include the news window, drawdown trigger and next-day restart, not only an ordinary profitable grid. Broker margin checks cannot prevent all losses in positions already open.
Original test reports
The gallery provides a report labelled six months and additional examples labelled $1,000 and $500 deposits. They show Strategy Tester statistics, not verified brokerage statements. Deposit labels and different test settings should not be combined into a single return claim or treated as a minimum-capital recommendation.

Customer feedback and source scope
The MQL5 page showed no customer reviews at our 17 September 2026 check, so there are no customer-review screenshots or third-party star ratings to reproduce. No separate public manual or product-specific signal was linked. The analysis is based on the developer description and gallery, with assumptions kept separate from confirmed features.

Practical setup
Configure the EMA signal, lot progression, grid spacing and loss controls for the chosen MT5 symbol. Test economic-calendar behaviour and broker/server-day resets. The listing does not identify a universal recommended timeframe or minimum deposit, so the gallery’s deposit examples should not be substituted for those requirements.
Decision points
Grid and martingale can amplify exposure during a sustained adverse move. A configured drawdown threshold is useful but remains subject to execution and slippage. The optional basket stop is disabled when StopLossPoints is zero; confirm the enabled settings rather than assuming a stop is always present.
