Gold Sniper by Nadim EA MT5 automates gold trading with swing-structure settings, configurable trade frequency and account sizing. Its developer describes stop loss, take profit, breakeven, spread filtering and volatility filtering, with XAUUSD M30 used in the published test environment.
Our assessment: its appeal is a gold setup with named swing and trade-frequency controls. It suits traders prepared to compare those settings. The original report, however, shows 71% history quality and 105.63% relative equity drawdown, with profit-in-pips mode in the setup. These are historical tester readings, not independently verified real-money losses or returns.

This review uses Developer’s Gold Sniper by Nadim listing on MQL5, its original gallery and release notes, checked October 1, 2026. It concerns product 189448, not the author’s separate similarly named product 197797. We have not independently run the supplied EA or reproduced the tests.
Swing confirmation and trade frequency
The named swing input controls the higher/lower highs and lows required on each side of a swing. The developer suggests comparing values from 1 to 5. A smaller or larger confirmation requirement can change when a structure qualifies, but the overview does not disclose the full entry formula; these settings should be tested rather than assumed to guarantee a particular signal quality.
The separate “Only 1 Trade Per Trend” switch changes the trade-frequency constraint. The author recommends comparing a disabled setting to allow more opportunities. More entries are not automatically better: inspect whether the additional trades improve results after costs and whether they create overlapping exposure during a losing move.
Position sizing, exits and execution filters
Automatic stop loss and take profit define intended exits, while breakeven management can reduce an established position’s open risk. A breakeven price does not necessarily cover commission or slippage. Spread and volatility filters can limit entry conditions, although the current overview does not give every filter threshold.
Dynamic sizing must be evaluated against the actual gold contract. The same lot number can represent different money exposure at different brokers. Confirm price precision, contract size, lot steps and the total position size permitted by the selected trend setting.
The developer’s original gold tests

- History quality / sample
- 71% shown in the original report; 113 trades and 226 deals.
- Net result / profit factor
- 10,207.60 in the displayed result units; profit factor 1.71. The associated setup has profit-in-pips mode selected.
- Winning trades
- 54 of 113, or 47.79%.
- Relative balance drawdown
- 58.20%, with 177.73 shown beside it.
- Relative equity drawdown
- 105.63%, with 495.43 shown beside it.
- Maximal equity drawdown
- 2,690.80, with 31.10% shown beside that different measurement.
The overview’s 100% modeling-quality wording differs from the 71% history quality displayed in the original report. We preserve the report’s figure. Its relative equity drawdown above 100% is another reason to examine the original run and its accounting assumptions rather than treating the rising final curve as evidence of a low-risk strategy.

The setup uses XAUUSD M30 from January 1 to August 30, 2026, with random execution delay, no forward split and profit-in-pips mode. Random delay is an execution assumption, not proof of matching a live broker’s fills. The checked pips option also prevents us from endorsing the gallery’s monetary-growth overlay as a reproduced money result.

The graph is a historical tester curve, with developer-added promotional text and an upward diagonal line. It is not a monitored live-account screenshot. Its peaks, retracements and reported drawdown remain part of the evidence even though the final level is higher than the start.
What the original input panel adds

The panel shows an EMA used as dynamic support/resistance, a pullback zone around it, ATR-based stop padding, a target-to-stop ratio, a volume filter and spread limits. It also displays breakeven after 1R, a time exit and fixed-versus-risk sizing options. These are useful clues to the strategy’s configurable structure.
However, the panel contains historical internal labels such as v4.3 and v4.6, while the current public listing identifies version 2.52. Its displayed values must not be treated as confirmed defaults for the supplied build. In the pictured setup, automatic risk sizing is off; the visible percentage value therefore does not establish the risk used for that test.
Release notes and source limitations
The September 15, 2026 release notes describe more control over EMA swing detection and the target-to-stop ratio. The author offers two different testing starting points: M3 with a swing setting of 4 and higher reward-to-risk ratios, or M30 with a swing setting of 1 and a 1:1 ratio.
The M3 suggestions range from approximately 9:1 to 14.5:1. A large target multiple describes an intended price distance relative to the stop; it does not establish how often that target is reached. The release notes explicitly treat these as test starting points. They also mean that M30 is not the only timeframe discussed publicly, although the gallery’s historical report remains an M30 test.
The current listing identifies version 2.52, updated September 15, 2026. The original screenshots may show earlier builds or different presets. No separate public manual or monitored live signal was linked from this requested product overview or seller page at our check, so the historical tests should not be described as a live track record.
Customer feedback
No public product reviews or posted buyer comments were available for the requested Gold Sniper listing at our October 1, 2026 check. There is therefore no product-specific customer-review capture to reproduce. We have not transferred opinions or ratings from a similarly named product or added third-party stars to WooCommerce.
ADI The Magic is a separate comparison
The same developer’s ADI The Magic EA MT5 describes pullback entries with confirmation, multiple levels and equity-risk sizing. Read its ADI The Magic review for its own evidence. These are separate listings; their shared author is not evidence of uncorrelated trades or a portfolio advantage.
For Gold Sniper, compare swing settings and the trend restriction under identical tester assumptions. Then examine a different period and demo execution before deciding whether the additional entry flexibility fits your risk limits.
