EA Rx Five combines Envelopes signals across five timeframes with a wide Forex basket. Its defining tradeoff is that selective entries are followed by built-in averaging and martingale. It may interest traders deliberately researching recovery systems, but it is not a no-martingale alternative. Hosting requirements and old external news/time dependencies are also material parts of the buying decision.

The five-timeframe design
The developer specifies seven Envelopes indicators on each of M5, M15, M30, H1 and H4. It looks for aligned price-action conditions before opening an order. This creates several filters, but their number is not itself evidence of predictive value: correlated signals can still fail together. The source lists 24 pairs, while the displayed historical report tested only 14. Adding more pairs can increase both opportunity and overlapping currency exposure.
Recovery risk must be assessed after entry
Averaging changes the position’s aggregate entry price; martingale increases exposure during a recovery sequence. A high percentage of winning trades can therefore coexist with a less frequent but much larger loss. Review basket size, margin use, losing sequences and the largest losing trade, not just entry accuracy. Fixed starting lots should not be described as disabling recovery unless the supplied settings explicitly do that.
The original report has useful warnings
The MT5 Strategy Tester image covers January 2017 to November 2019, starts with 5,000 and reports net profit of 4,878.26. It shows a 1.47 profit factor, 66.50% profitable trades, 20.39% balance drawdown and 27.81% relative equity drawdown. Average profit is 19.30 versus average loss of 26.08, and the largest losing trade is 1,618.77. Those numbers explain why the win rate alone is an incomplete assessment of a recovery strategy.

MT4 and MT5 have different operating requirements
The MT4 source lists about 800 MB RAM; MT5 lists 1,100 MB and explicitly requires hedging. Both call for a conventional VPS and exclude the integrated MQL5 VPS. MT5 documents a multi-currency tester switch with M5 selected. Do not assume an MT4 single-symbol test reproduces a simultaneous portfolio run, or that a report from one executable verifies execution on the other platform.
News, GMT and hidden exits introduce dependencies
The documentation names ec.forexprostools.com and world-time-zone1.com as WebRequest endpoints. The April 2020 release notes changed the time-download service. The listing also says its integrated historical news dataset runs only to October 2022. We have not validated those services inside a running purchased EA, so current connectivity remains a practical pre-trading check. Hidden take profit, break-even and trailing management also depend on the terminal remaining available.
Balance and leverage recommendations need context
The developer suggests 5,000 or a 50-unit deposit on an appropriate cent account, leverage from 1:500, a 0.01 minimum lot and five/three-digit quotes. JPY and RUB account currencies are excluded. A cent account changes the account’s denomination and often its contract scale; it is not simply a way to assume the same risk on one hundredth of the capital. Confirm the broker’s exact contract and margin requirements.
What is missing from the public evidence
Neither Rx Five edition had customer reviews at our check on 20 September 2026. The MT4 monitoring link points to the author’s general signal collection, rather than a uniquely identified current Rx Five account. Other systems from this developer cannot stand in for Rx Five performance. We omit the old launch-scarcity graphic because its copy count, activation terms and forecast price do not describe this standalone offer.
Who should consider it
The useful question is whether you specifically want to test an averaging/martingale basket with these hosting requirements. If you want individually stopped breakout trades without recovery scaling, compare Evolution or Legendary instead. Before running Rx Five, test connectivity, GMT, basket selection and margin behaviour in the intended platform. Its older report offers a case study, not a current recommendation based on verified live results.
