EA Rx Five MT5 is a hedging-account Forex portfolio EA with multi-currency testing and five-timeframe Envelopes confirmation. It combines news-aware entries with hidden exits, balance-based sizing and a built-in averaging/martingale recovery algorithm.
- MT5 multi-currency tester mode with M5 selected.
- 24 listed Forex pairs, individually enabled or disabled.
- Hedging account and conventional VPS required.
Test the entire selected basket in MT5
Each of M5, M15, M30, H1 and H4 uses seven Envelopes indicators. The EA searches for alignment across these periods before opening an order. Multi_Currency_BackTest is a documented MT5 option: select M5 and test the active basket rather than judging a multi-pair configuration solely from a single symbol’s chart.
Separate entry filtering from recovery risk
The five-timeframe filter describes how a trade starts. It does not eliminate the risk added later by averaging and martingale. Multiple related pairs can also load the same currency exposure. Custom_Risk, User_Balance and Fixed_Lot affect lot sizing, while pair switches let you reduce the number of simultaneous opportunities being considered.

Plan the MT5 environment
The source requires an MT5 hedging account and approximately 1,100 MB RAM. It specifies a standard VPS and excludes the integrated MQL5 VPS service. Check 0.01 minimum lots, five/three-digit quotes and account currency: JPY and RUB accounts are listed as unsupported. The developer suggests $5,000 or a suitable $50 cent account and leverage from 1:500; these requirements do not imply a safe loss ceiling.
External news and GMT dependencies
The setup instructions name ec.forexprostools.com and world-time-zone1.com as WebRequest destinations. They also distinguish automatic live GMT handling from manual tester settings. Verify connectivity, time offsets and the journal before running the strategy. Hidden exits depend on the terminal continuing to manage positions, so an interrupted VPS can matter.
Read the report as a historical simulation
The original 2017–2019 MT5 report tested 14 symbols, fewer than the 24 now listed. It reports 27.81% relative equity drawdown and a 1.47 profit factor. That is useful evidence of the test’s risk profile, but not a forecast for a larger current basket. The historical news dataset described in the listing ends in October 2022.
