The Gold Fusion EA MT5 trades gold through 15 entry models, using closed-bar confirmation and equal-size recovery baskets. Its distinctive controls include a fixed basket-depth ceiling, account-equity protection and separate trading windows for each strategy.
Our assessment: worth investigating for traders who deliberately want a configurable gold recovery system. The transparent grid disclosure is useful, but the short live record and absence of individual stop losses make exposure management central to the decision.

Sources and captures checked 13 September 2026. We reviewed public evidence; we have not independently traded the EA or reproduced its backtests.
Fifteen strategies, one gold market
Nine strategies are long-only and six are short-only. Each has its own signal and confirmation timeframes, trading hours, thresholds, recovery distances and magic number. Trading windows cover Asian, London and New York sessions.
The developer’s graphic names fast and slow DeMarker readings. Both must agree on a completed bar before a strategy can enter. A rejected bar is not reconsidered on later ticks. These are defined entry rules, but fifteen models on XAUUSD still share the same underlying market: they are not fifteen unrelated sources of risk.

Recovery orders keep the basket’s base lot size and use a fixed distance from its worst-priced position. The basket targets its volume-weighted entry price plus a strategy-specific distance. Although there is no geometric lot multiplier, ten equal-size positions still carry ten times the base exposure.
What the protective controls actually establish
The description says every basket has a compiled depth limit that buyers cannot raise. It does not publish the exact number. Equity monitoring is enabled by default and evaluated every tick, closing positions at the configured threshold. The user selects whether trading stops or resumes afterwards.
Individual positions have no stop loss. The protection depends on basket/account management and a functioning terminal connection. A threshold is not a guarantee that execution will occur at precisely that loss during gaps or fast markets.
The optional portfolio lock deserves checking in the current inputs. The overview mixes a one-direction restriction with wording about preventing same-side overlap; a buyer comment describes same-direction overlap protection. That does not clearly establish the exact simultaneous-basket limit, so we would verify its behavior on demo rather than assume only one basket can ever exist.
Live signal: 13.30% growth over three weeks

- Account and funding
- VantageMarkets-Live 19, MT5, 1:500 leverage. $700 initial deposit, no additional deposits or withdrawals; balance and equity $793.11.
- Trading result
- 13.30% growth and $93.11 profit. Signal start: 23 August 2026; nine trading days in the displayed three-week history.
- Trade sample
- 72 XAUUSD+ trades; 77.77% profitable; profit factor 2.80; average holding time 26 minutes.
- Risk measures
- Relative equity drawdown 8.58% ($64.90), relative balance drawdown 2.54% ($19.41), maximum deposit load 11.34%.

The result is positive, but MQL5 still flags the account as newly opened. Three weeks cannot show how recovery baskets behave through a long adverse period. The equity-versus-balance gap is also relevant: floating losses can be larger than a closed-trade balance curve suggests.
The account reports 87% algorithmic trading, so its entire history should not be presented as proven output of this EA alone. Nor did we establish that every trade used the current release and unchanged settings. Its $700 starting balance is below today’s published $1,000 minimum suggestion; it should not be treated as a setup recommendation.
The separate signal-copy subscription displayed $299 per month. That is a different service from this EA product. Inspect the current Gold Fusion signal and full statistics.
Backtests: the detailed report changes the picture

The developer’s main graphic shows $19,651,700.95 net profit from a $10,000 deposit, with 6,417 trades, a 4.61 profit factor and 76.72% winning trades. These are simulated historical results, not an income target or evidence that a new account will grow similarly.

The headline 10.66% equity drawdown is the maximal measure in the supplied report. The same image lists 24.28% relative equity drawdown. Presenting only the smaller headline would understate an important part of the historical percentage-risk picture.
There is also a labelling inconsistency: the graphic labels $19,651,700.95 as both net profit and final balance. With a $10,000 initial deposit, those amounts should differ. We preserve the original images rather than silently fixing the source, and would consult a native tester report before relying on exact totals.
The gallery predates later releases. Version 1.20 added a filter and 1.40 addresses visual backtesting, so these images do not demonstrate that the latest build reproduces the same test. No complete public manual or reproducible tester package was linked in the inspected overview, release notes or comments.
Buyer review and comments

One five-star review was visible at capture time. It praises the developer’s knowledge and support, and expresses enthusiasm for his products. The same buyer’s 10 September comment says they had just started using Fusion. This is encouraging feedback on support, but only a few days separate that starting point and the review.
A longer 11 September comment by Rustan Nino Mallari describes fixed 0.01-lot tests for 2023–2026, reporting $5,387.72 net profit, 3,674 trades and 15.08% maximum equity drawdown for Fusion. It is a customer’s claimed test, not a result we reproduced. Their comparison with Quantum Queen lacks a complete independently checked setup and should not establish superiority over another EA.
That comment also reports a 60% default drawdown setting, attributed to a developer explanation about product validation. The developer replies with thanks but does not separately document the input in the thread. This makes checking the actual current setting especially important: default-enabled protection does not mean a small loss limit, and we have not verified that 60% remains the current default.
All four comments were read. The useful themes are early enthusiasm, developer responsiveness and the need to choose an appropriate recovery-risk threshold. None provides a long live customer history. MQL5 stars remain separate from CheaperForex verified-purchase ratings.
News filters and broker setup
The EA uses a compiled FOMC schedule to make those blocked periods available in the Strategy Tester as well as live operation. Other high-impact events use MT5’s calendar for the selected currencies, without WebRequest whitelisting. A red dashboard status flags calendar-read failure.
A compiled schedule still needs to cover the dates being traded; keep releases current. The native-calendar part should not be assumed identical in tester and live operation merely because the FOMC table works in both.
The current requirement is XAUUSD M15 on a hedging account, ideally with raw/ECN spreads. The older strategy graphic says netting is supported, while the current overview qualifies it as heavily restricted. Follow that current qualification. Two- and three-decimal price scaling helps avoid point-conversion mistakes, but does not remove differences in spread, commission, fills or contract size.
Release history and same-developer alternatives
The current listing showed version 1.40, updated 12 September 2026, correcting visual-mode backtesting. Earlier notes list a small fix in 1.30, a new filter in 1.20 and a minor fix in 1.10. The release notes are brief and do not specify every changed parameter.
CheaperForex also lists The Gold Space MT5 and The Gold Space MT4. For that product’s evidence, read The Gold Space review. Shared authorship is helpful for comparing product design and support, but those accounts and reviews must not be used as Fusion’s performance history.
Verdict
The Gold Fusion offers a more explicit description of recovery mechanics than many gold EAs: fixed-size additions, limited depth and configurable equity protection are useful details. Its positive young signal warrants watching, while the backtest’s larger relative drawdown and the uncertain current default threshold deserve attention before choosing settings.
It suits readers comfortable evaluating basket risk and monitoring exposure. Anyone requiring a fixed stop loss on every individual trade should recognize that this product uses a different approach.

Frequently asked questions
Is the live signal a long-term performance record?
No. On 13 September 2026 it displayed three weeks, starting 23 August 2026. Positive growth over this interval does not establish performance through prolonged adverse gold conditions.
Why does the backtest show both 10.66% and 24.28% drawdown?
The original graphic reports 10.66% maximal equity drawdown and 24.28% relative equity drawdown. These are different measures. The larger relative figure is relevant when assessing the percentage decline experienced at earlier equity levels.
Does no martingale mean no grid risk?
No. Recovery entries remain the same size but their combined exposure grows. Multiple strategies can carry baskets together, and individual trades have no stop loss.
Are the buyer comments independently verified results?
No. The review and comments are attributed third-party opinions and test claims. We have not reproduced those tests or imported their ratings into CheaperForex verified-purchase reviews.
