Pac Man BTC EA MT5 Review: Breakout, Runner & Signals

By 8 min read

Pac Man BTC EA MT5 trades Bitcoin on BTCUSD H1 with two selectable systems: pending-order Breakout entries and a momentum Runner using internal multi-timeframe confirmations. Thomas Christoph Lipka’s EA gives each system its own money management and exit controls, with an optional Runner multiplier that increases position size according to its signal classification.

Our assessment: the separate Breakout and Runner controls are useful for traders who want to test Bitcoin strategies individually. The main considerations are the ×3 sizing option and the young public evidence: both linked accounts have only been monitored since September 27, 2026. Initial winning percentages do not establish how this system handles a prolonged losing period.

This review uses the developer’s listing, original gallery, release notes, public feedback pages and both linked signals, checked October 5, 2026. We have not independently traded the EA or reproduced its backtest. The cover is new promotional artwork; the developer composite and official signal previews below are unedited source material.

How Breakout and Runner differ

Breakout prepares pending orders after its internal strategies identify a valid setup. A pending order waits for price to reach an entry level; identifying the setup does not itself mean an immediate market entry. The developer describes separate entry, stop-loss, take-profit, breakeven and trailing settings across its underlying strategies. The exact indicator formulas are not public, so the description supports a general entry model rather than a reproducible mathematical rule.

Runner targets stronger Bitcoin moves using multi-timeframe analysis and up to 12 internal confirmations. More confirmations can restrict the eligible setups, but their number alone says nothing about predictive accuracy. The listing does not publish a calibration showing the probability of a winning trade for each signal class.

You can enable Breakout, Runner or both. That makes separate tests practical: compare trade frequency, cash risk, holding times and drawdown for each mode before combining them. The systems share the same account and market, so their losses or simultaneous positions can overlap.

The Runner multiplier changes risk as well as size

Standard signal
×1 of the Runner’s selected base sizing.
Strong signal
×2 of the selected base sizing.
Premium signal
×3 of the selected base sizing.
Multiplier disabled
Every Runner signal uses ×1.
Applicable sizing
Fixed lots, percentage risk and balance-based sizing. Breakout and Runner have separate money management.

A Premium signal can therefore triple the exposure selected as Runner’s base amount. For example, a base percentage-risk setting of 1% can become 3% before allowing for execution differences. The signal label is a sizing instruction, not proof that a larger position is safer. Evaluate the account’s worst combined exposure with both systems enabled rather than treating each base setting as the maximum possible account loss.

Stop loss, take profit, breakeven and dynamic trailing are described, together with maximum-spread protection, spread-adaptive trading and weekend controls. Those tools can restrict entries or manage exits, but stop execution can still differ from the requested level. A weekend control is also not proof that a broker provides uninterrupted Bitcoin trading.

Broker setup and the October release changes

Market and chart
BTCUSD, H1, on one MetaTrader 5 chart. Additional timeframe analysis runs internally.
Developer guidance
A 500 USD starting account, conservative fixed lots for initial tests and a stable VPS for continuous operation.
Quote conversion
Version 1.2, dated October 5, adds automatic handling for Bitcoin quotes with one, two or three price digits.
Pending-order resets
Version 1.1, dated October 4, improves obsolete-order removal. Restarting or changing settings resets pending orders while preserving open positions.

The October 4 notes also describe dashboard profit, profit-factor and trade-statistics corrections. These are useful operational details: an amended display is different from a change to the underlying trading results. The original gallery’s dashboard shows version 1.0, so it should not be read as an exact picture of the current interface.

Test the actual broker’s Bitcoin contract size, lot step, minimum volume, margin, stop distances and session schedule. Automatic digit conversion does not make every broker’s costs or fills identical. If the intended volume is below the broker’s minimum lot, the smallest tradable position may exceed the desired cash risk. The recommended deposit is setup guidance, not an independently established safety buffer.

What the developer’s original image establishes

Original developer Pac Man BTC promotional composite showing Breakout and Runner diagrams, input controls, a dashboard and claimed historical backtest statistics
Original unedited developer composite from the MQL5 Pac Man BTC gallery, retrieved October 5, 2026. It combines promotional diagrams, sample inputs and a dashboard labeled version 1.0 with a claimed BTCUSD January–September 2026 real-tick backtest. The current public listing is version 1.2. The composite reports 1,717 trades, 1,209.93 net profit and profit factor 3.18, but provides no raw tester report or reproducible settings; its 1.63% maximum-drawdown label does not identify balance versus equity. It is developer material, not independently verified live evidence.

The full-size composite combines strategy diagrams, sample controls, a dashboard and a claimed BTCUSD real-tick test covering January–September 2026. Open the image to inspect the small panels. It reports 1,717 trades, 1,586 profitable trades, net profit of 1,209.93 and profit factor 3.18. The image labels maximum drawdown as 23.68 (1.63%), but does not identify whether that measure is balance or equity drawdown.

The gallery does not provide the complete raw tester report, currency, broker details or reproducible lot-sizing settings. We therefore do not convert the graphic into a verified percentage return or compare its drawdown directly with the live-account equity measures below. It is the developer’s historical simulation and product illustration, not an independently repeated result.

VT account: 71 trades and a short monitored history

The Pac Man BTC Runner and Breakout VT signal uses VTMarkets-Live 6. At the October 5, 2026 check, it showed 22.75% growth, 71 trades, 63 profitable trades (88.73%) and profit factor 2.56. Its initial deposit was EUR240, with EUR54.59 profit and balance/equity of EUR294.59; no additional deposits or withdrawals were shown.

Original unedited MQL5 share preview for Pac Man BTC Runner and Breakout VT (2393114), retrieved October 5, 2026. The public account page then showed 22.75% growth, 71 trades and 3.37% relative equity drawdown, with monitoring beginning September 27, 2026. The rounded 23% graphic is an official share preview, not a browser dashboard capture. Its horizontal scale counts trades rather than months; this is a short history and MQL5 flags a new account and copying frequency.

Relative balance drawdown was 4.14% (EUR12.40), while relative equity drawdown was 3.37% (EUR8.97). These are distinct measures. Average profit was EUR1.42 and average loss was EUR4.38, so the high winning percentage coexisted with losses roughly three times the average win. Average holding time was 19 minutes.

Vantage account: different growth and larger average losses

The Pac Man BTC Runner and Breakout Vantage signal uses VantageMarkets-Live 10. On the same check it showed 6.89% growth, 54 trades, 47 profitable trades (87.03%) and profit factor 1.74. An initial EUR500 deposit had become EUR534.43 balance/equity, with EUR34.43 profit and no additional deposits or withdrawals shown.

Original unedited MQL5 share preview for Pac Man BTC Runner and Breakout Vantage (2393115), retrieved October 5, 2026. The public account page then showed 6.89% growth, 54 trades and 3.71% relative equity drawdown, with monitoring beginning September 27, 2026. The rounded 7% graphic is an official share preview, not a browser dashboard capture. Its horizontal scale counts trades rather than months; the early decline remains visible. MQL5 flags a new account and copying frequency.

Relative balance drawdown was 4.00% (EUR20.20), and relative equity drawdown was 3.71% (EUR18.07). Average profit was EUR1.72 against an average EUR6.64 loss, nearly four times larger. Average holding time was 21 minutes. The original preview retains the early decline; its rounded 7% headline is not the exact growth figure from the account page.

How much confidence can those signals support?

Both began public monitoring on September 27, only eight calendar days before this check. MQL5 displayed account-history labels of three weeks for VT and two weeks for Vantage, but those labels are not the length of public monitoring. Trades from before registration can contribute to the displayed history.

Both pages flag the new account and the uncertainty of early results, along with frequent trading that can affect copying. Their previews plot trade counts rather than months. The server names identify live servers, but we have not independently audited the deposits, exact settings, EA build or attribution of every trade.

The accounts have different initial balances and samples; settings and broker feeds may also differ. Their growth gap is not a controlled broker comparison. Neither eight days of monitoring nor a favorable win rate establishes performance through different Bitcoin market conditions. Do not extrapolate these figures into monthly or annual returns.

Customer feedback, manuals and related products

The product’s public review and comment pages contained no feedback at this check, and no public manual or preset was linked. There is therefore no genuine product-review screenshot to reproduce yet. We do not apply the developer’s other ratings to Pac Man BTC or turn MQL5 signal figures into CheaperForex customer stars.

Thomas Christoph Lipka also develops Ghost Scalper EA MT5 and Colosseum EA MT5. The Ghost Scalper review and Colosseum review cover those separate gold products. Their histories can help you understand his catalog, but do not validate a new Bitcoin strategy.

Who should consider Pac Man BTC?

Its main appeal is the ability to test two Bitcoin approaches from one chart with separate sizing and exits. Before combining them, establish what each mode actually trades and whether the Runner multiplier fits your account risk budget. The published release notes address practical broker and order-management details, while the two linked signals provide an early, dated record to follow.

The public evidence remains young and the developer test is not independently reproducible from the supplied gallery. For a buying decision, weigh the strategy controls and operating requirements alongside that evidence limit, rather than relying on the first week’s growth.
