Control Ghost A, B, C and D separately

Each strategy can be enabled independently, with buy/sell selection, position handling and its own risk choices. Fixed Lot, Risk Percent and Risk per Balance are different sizing methods. Several modules trading gold together can still create concentrated exposure, even when each appears modest on its own.

Choose the trailing method deliberately

The newer controls distinguish Old Trail, Dynamic Fast and Dynamic Wide. Dynamic Fast uses AutoOffset by default, while Dynamic Wide uses fixed offsets. AutoOffset can make bounded adjustments from closed trades; the separate LiveOptimizer is an analysis tool and does not automatically rewrite the EA’s parameters.

Understand the stop fallback

Normal protection uses broker stops. If a stop update is rejected, the documented virtual fallback and retained earlier stop have a specific role; virtual management still depends on a running terminal. Check the actual order and terminal messages after a rejection instead of assuming that a line on the dashboard proves a broker modification succeeded.

Check event windows and execution

The USD news filter requires the documented WebRequest setup. News-week risk reduction, Friday/Monday handling, spreads and order fills should be checked on the intended broker. Does LiveOptimizer automatically change my settings?

No. The documented LiveOptimizer analyses performance. AutoOffset is a different feature that can make bounded trailing adjustments from closed-trade information.

Will virtual protection work with MT5 closed?

A virtual exit requires the terminal to run. Inspect broker-held stops separately and test the documented fallback behaviour before relying on it.

Does enabling all four Ghost strategies reduce risk?

Not automatically. All four trade gold, so inspect their combined lots and simultaneous exposure as well as each individual risk setting.
