Pips Kicker EA MT5 is a Forex and gold trading robot built around trend-following mean reversion, support/resistance structure and configurable risk/reward. Its automated strategy is described as holding one active trade at a time, with a stop and target assigned at entry.
Our assessment: the practical appeal is its combination of entry filtering, visible risk controls and optional trade-management tools. The main considerations are how those tools change the default exit behavior, how multiple charts combine risk, and the limited performance evidence available for a recent release. This review uses sources checked 20 October 2026; it is not a firsthand test of the executable.

How its setup selection works
Andrey Barinov describes the strategy as trend-following mean reversion: it analyzes market structure and combines calculated parameters with filters before accepting a support or resistance setup. The public overview does not disclose the exact indicator formula, so there is no basis to assign it a particular moving-average, RSI or AI model.
One useful distinction is that the risk/reward setting affects entry eligibility. The EA skips setups if their proposed stop and target do not fit current structure and conditions. Increasing a target or changing the stop relationship can therefore change which trades occur, not just the outcome of an identical sequence.
The estimated three to five trades per pair each week is guidance, not a schedule. Volatility, symbol and settings can all change activity. Long quiet periods or a different count are not, by themselves, evidence that a system is broken.
Automatic exits and optional utilities are different layers
The listing says automatic entries receive predefined Stop Loss and Take Profit levels that remain unchanged after execution. It separately provides manual-management utilities for trailing stops, break-even, setting or removing stops and targets, and closing groups of trades.
Those statements describe different operating choices. Leaving the automated strategy’s exits alone is different from enabling a utility that modifies a selected position. Record which tools are active when testing; otherwise two runs labeled with the same EA may use different exit rules.
Other utilities include entry/pending-order lines, fixed-lot or money-risk trade entry, selective trade duplication, and one-cancels-other order handling. Their presence does not mean they all run automatically or that they improve every strategy.
Risk controls and account limits
The daily loss control is described as stopping trading at a configured threshold. The total drawdown limit uses a highest balance/equity peak. The overview does not fully specify reset timing, every floating-loss treatment or forced-close behavior, so those details need checking in the actual configuration.
The prop-firm panel provides warnings and guidance; it cannot certify compatibility with every provider. A firm may use a different daily reset, starting balance or trailing-equity rule. Stops also remain subject to gaps and slippage.
The developer describes the strategy as no-grid and no-martingale with one active trade. That should not be read as an account-wide cap across unrelated EAs or multiple instances. Distinct Magic Numbers help identify trades but do not prevent several correlated positions from losing together.
Market filters and operating requirements
The EA has a spread filter and a news filter using two economic-calendar sources, with news shown on the chart. It also monitors terminal connection and AutoTrading status. Monitoring can expose an operating problem; it does not remove dependency on connectivity or calendar availability.
Forex pairs and gold, hedging and netting accounts, and either MQL5 VPS or a regular VPS are described as supported. The source recommends leverage of at least 1:100 while allowing 1:30. Higher leverage is not a reason to raise trade risk, and using a supported account type does not make all brokers’ prices and execution identical.
The public overview does not state one mandatory chart timeframe or a fixed minimum deposit. EURUSD M30 appears in a customer’s test below, not as a universal setup instruction. Select trade size with the actual stop distance, contract specification and available margin in mind, then test the complete configuration on demo.
Customer feedback: promising tests, limited live evidence

The listing showed four reviews when checked: three written comments and one rating-only entry. Amos0919 and Francomagock praise the developer’s assistance. Those comments describe their own customer experience, not a support entitlement bundled with this offer or proof of future returns.
The more detailed review, posted by zeke21t2 on 10 October 2026, reports a comparison with Edge Boost Pro on EURUSD M30, using 1% risk, TP-relative trailing and a Friday close at 22:00. The customer labels the environment “Axi premium ETRT with Random Delay” and gives a period from 12 January to 9 October 2026.
- Customer-reported sample
- 132 simulated trades; 78.03% win rate; profit factor 2.52.
- Customer-reported drawdown
- 4.68% maximum relative equity drawdown in that test.
- Comparison observation
- Daily realized-return correlation of approximately 0.06 with Edge Boost Pro in the customer’s tested configuration.
This is a customer’s backtest account of results, not a linked live signal or an independently reproduced test. Its trailing and scheduled closing also mean it does not represent untouched fixed-stop/fixed-target behavior. The customer explicitly says live validation is still ahead.
Low historical correlation in one sample does not establish a future hedge. As the reviewer notes, both systems may hold positions in the same direction, so combined exposure still matters.
“Very promising backtest results, with live validation still ahead.”

Evidence scope at launch
Pips Kicker was published on 10 October 2026 and showed version 1.0 when checked. No identifiable public account link or product-specific manual was available in the reviewed listing, comments or seller page. A promotional badge and an undated signal-style gallery image do not establish a current identified track record. The customer test provides a starting point for reproduction; a longer forward record would be needed to assess performance across changing conditions.
Other products by Andrey Barinov in the catalog include Edge Boost Pro EA MT5, BruteForce EA MT5 and Impulse Rider EA MT5. Compare each strategy’s own features and evidence.
