How Athena Works
Athena is a structured grid system. Rather than firing on a single entry signal, it manages exposure across a set of XAUUSD positions: when price moves against an entry, additional positions are opened at calculated grid intervals to build a better average price, and the basket closes when price reverts. The mechanic relies on Gold’s mean-reverting tendency rather than predicting direction outright.
Floating drawdown while the grid is open is part of how the design works. The risk-level setting you choose determines how aggressively the grid sizes its positions — and therefore how much floating drawdown the account can build during adverse runs.
