Choose the combination you intend to run
Custom Mode allows strategy selection rather than treating the entire bundle as compulsory. Keep the documented default as a reference before changing the mix. Adding another gold strategy can increase the number of open positions during the same move, so selection and overall risk need to be evaluated together.
Treat it as a grid system
Athena X uses trend-following grid management. A high historical winning percentage does not show how much floating loss accumulated before positions closed. Inspect basket exposure, margin availability and equity drawdown, not just the closed-trade balance curve.
Check quotation format and hosting
The developer specifies two-decimal gold quotes, a hedging account, low-spread execution and a VPS. Three-decimal gold quotes are excluded. The capital and leverage guidance should be read with the chosen preset and account specification; they do not guarantee that the grid will remain within a particular loss.
Separate Athena X from earlier Athena reports
The older article includes an eight-year Athena backtest and a historical signal screenshot. These remain useful context but do not independently validate every current X strategy selection.
