Which account type does ToTheMoon MT5 need?
Use an MT5 hedging account. The developer says netting accounts do not work properly and FIFO accounts are unsuitable.
What market and timeframe are recommended?
The listed NoPain and NoStress presets use AUDCAD on M5. Other presets can use different symbols and settings; match the chart and inputs to the selected preset.
Does ToTheMoon use grid and increasing lots?
Yes. The developer describes averaging positions with increasing lots as price moves against the basket, then using profitable orders to help close losing positions. This can create substantial floating drawdown.
Does the news filter work in the strategy tester?
The developer identifies the news filter as an MT5 feature and says it does not work in backtests. A historical test therefore cannot validate that live filter’s effect.
