Bitcoin Chill EA MT5 Review

By 5 min read

Bitcoin Chill EA MT5 is a BTCUSD trading robot built around selective entries, defined trade exits and automatic trailing stops. Fixed-volume or balance-based sizing, a maximum-lot cap and optional USD-news controls give the user practical ways to adjust exposure.

Our assessment: its appeal is a focused Bitcoin setup without the recovery grid or martingale sizing described in many other EAs. The main considerations are broker-specific BTCUSD conditions and a very short public track record. This review examines the developer’s listing and public evidence checked 20 October 2026; it is not a firsthand trading test or an independent rerun of the executable.

Entries, protection and position sizing

Bitcoin Chill waits for several market conditions to align before submitting a trade. The precise entry formula is not disclosed publicly.

Each submitted order has a defined stop loss and take profit. A trailing stop manages favorable moves. According to the developer, the EA does not multiply position sizes to recover losses, add recovery grids or open opposing positions to rescue a losing trade. Balance-based sizing can still change trade size as the account changes; that is separate from multiplying a lot after a loss.

Users can instead choose fixed volume and apply a maximum-lot limit. Before placing a pending order, the EA checks available margin, reduces volume when necessary and skips the order if the broker’s minimum lot cannot be supported. This is an execution check, not a guarantee that the selected size is appropriate for the account.

M15 setup and broker compatibility

The published setup is one BTCUSD M15 chart on MetaTrader 5, with no set file required. Although the developer says analysis is managed internally rather than driven by the visible chart timeframe, M15 remains the explicit attachment and testing instruction.

The robot checks broker volume, price, stop and order-execution rules. BTCUSD contracts can differ substantially, so the same numeric lot size need not mean the same exposure. Spread, tick value, commission, swaps, leverage and market hours all need checking. The listing provides no universal starting-balance requirement.

Fixed exits offer a defined trading plan, but Bitcoin gaps, spread changes and slippage can produce a worse fill than the requested stop. Demo testing on the intended broker is more informative than assuming a successful test on another price feed transfers unchanged.

What the news filter changes

The optional filter can pause around selected major events or all high-impact USD news, with configurable windows before and after the event. Separate options can remove pending orders or close positions. Those are meaningful differences: preventing a new entry does not by itself close an existing trade.

The public listing does not explain the calendar-feed implementation, so this review does not assume a particular external service or that every live news action is reproduced in the Strategy Tester.

The public account: age, funding and drawdown

The developer-linked signal is labeled Real Account on MT5 at VantageMarkets-Live 15, with 1:500 leverage. On 20 October 2026 it showed 44 trades, 14.90% growth and $40.75 profit from a $273.47 initial deposit. Balance and equity were both $314.22, with no additional deposits or withdrawals. The profit factor was 1.20; all recorded trades were BTCUSD.

Original drawdown labels and warnings are retained. No chart was reconstructed; past results do not guarantee future results.

MQL5 reported 31.91% relative balance drawdown and 9.45% relative equity drawdown. Both labels matter; the smaller equity figure should not replace the balance figure. The record showed 95% algorithmic trading, so it should not be treated as proof that every trade came from an unchanged retail build.

The displayed Started field was 7 October, while the public warning history begins 30 September; both predate the 16 October retail release. MQL5 flagged a newly opened account and said 80% of growth occurred in one day. This is an early forward record with concentrated gains, not evidence of stable long-term performance.

The developer’s backtest and its assumptions

The original backtest graphic reports $921,599.07 net profit from a $10,000 deposit, 627 trades and a 1.76 profit factor. It is labeled 2025 to present and 100% real ticks. These are developer-supplied simulation results from one environment; the graphic does not supply the full inputs and broker configuration needed to reproduce the run.

The headline 18.39% maximal equity drawdown accompanies a separate 25.70% relative equity drawdown field. Relative balance drawdown is 24.17%. Reporting only the headline percentage would leave out a material part of the tester results.

In her 19 October explanation, the developer says she emphasizes data from 2025 onward because she expects a higher Bitcoin price environment over the coming years. That is a development assumption, not an established forecast. Tests outside that favored regime remain useful stress checks, alongside real-tick testing with realistic costs and forward testing on the intended broker.

Customer feedback and the current release

Bitcoin Chill was published on 16 October 2026, and the current listing showed version 1.0 at this check. Its sole MQL5 rating, from Francomagock on the release date, has no written comment. It offers no explanation of settings, account type or trading experience.

This third-party rating is separate from CheaperForex verified-purchase reviews. With only a few days since retail publication, longer forward evidence is still needed to judge consistency.

Who the setup is for

Bitcoin Chill suits buyers looking for a BTCUSD-only MT5 strategy with individual protective exits and accessible sizing controls. Its published design is more relevant to that requirement than the size of one simulated profit figure. Test across rising, falling and ranging markets, and judge losses, exposure and trade distribution alongside returns.
