SomaBTC EA MT5 runs 18 Bitcoin breakout strategies on one BTCUSD chart. It combines broad and narrow entry ranges with portfolio lot sizing, US news controls and daily and weekly session filters.
What the portfolio does
Developed by Andrii Soma, each strategy has its own trading identity, swing detection and exits. Several strategies may participate in the same market move, so the total open exposure matters more than the number of strategies. The EA reads its working timeframes internally; you do not need a separate chart for each setup.

Bitcoin trading with defined sessions
By default, the EA closes trades at the end of the US session and permits new trading after the Asian session starts. Its weekly window also closes exposure for the weekend. BTC may trade seven days a week at your broker, but that does not mean this portfolio trades continuously. Disabling these filters changes the conditions under which the developer optimised the strategies.
The built-in calendar covers NFP, CPI and interest-rate decisions. Each strategy has its own event distances and can pause entries, remove pending orders or close positions around those releases.

Monitor the whole account exposure
Fixed lots and capital-step sizing are available, with a risk multiplier, maximum-lot setting and balance/equity selection. OnlyUp sizing can retain the peak-capital baseline through a drawdown, so lot sizes need not fall as equity falls. Margin protection considers pending orders, but cannot guarantee that a gap or fast market will stay within the intended risk.
Evidence to review before increasing risk
The public Bitcoin signal has experienced a meaningful drawdown and was slightly negative overall at our September 2026 check. The attractive developer backtests should therefore be read alongside the actual account history.
