Diamond Scalper MT5 Review: Modes, Signals and Risk

Diamond Scalper EA MT5 trades XAUUSD through three independent strategies and eleven trading modes. It combines trend and breakout entries with predefined stops, shared trailing management and configurable news and account-protection controls. A configurable gold scalper for traders who want separate modules and explicit exit controls. Its flexibility is useful for testing, but the live evidence is still young and execution-sensitive.

How the strategy works

The strategies can be enabled separately, so the EA is more configurable than a single gold entry rule. Modes 1–10 change the trade-management distances; mode 11 uses a distinct fixed-target breakout profile. Comparing modes therefore means comparing different exit behaviour, not simply increasing an aggression slider. The developer states that the system does not use grid, martingale or hedging.

  • Three independently selectable gold strategies: one trend module and two breakout modules.
  • Eleven modes with different stop, target and trailing profiles.
  • Fixed-lot, percentage-risk or balance-step sizing, with news and drawdown controls.

Configuration and execution

Use an XAUUSD M1 chart in MT5 and the intended preset. The modules perform their own analysis internally. Check the broker’s exact gold symbol, spread, stop-distance rules and volume step. News controls can block entries around selected events and optionally cancel orders or close trades. Friday closure and account-level limits need configuring to match the intended risk.

What to test carefully

Risk set per trade can accumulate when several modules have positions open. A maximum-drawdown setting is a response rule, not a guaranteed maximum loss: gaps and execution delays can exceed a threshold. Short trade duration also makes commission and slippage important. The Raw signal’s average holding time was only 37 seconds at the check, so a backtest with favourable execution is not enough to establish the same outcome on another broker.

Live signal analysis — 15 September 2026

The linked Vantage accounts offer public forward observations, but both are small and young. The Raw account showed 44.96% growth across 46 trades and ten weeks of history, with a 1.53 profit factor. Relative balance drawdown was 10.93%; equity drawdown was 2.59%. Its initial deposit was $50, with subsequent deposits and withdrawals, so the percentage is not a simple return on an untouched initial balance. The second, Standard account showed 5.72% growth after only three trades and one week. Its zero recorded equity drawdown is a tiny-sample observation, not proof of risk-free trading.

The two linked Vantage signals have short histories and small samples. Read the dated account analysis before treating backtest figures as evidence of a durable edge.

History and configuration changes

The September release notes describe strategy-identification and trailing-stop fixes and the addition of a third strategy. That evolution matters when comparing earlier signal trades with the current three-module configuration. The developer’s 14 September mode guide tests a 2025-onward period, while older gallery images cover a different period beginning in 2021. These are separate simulations, not figures that can be combined into one live record.

Original developer images

The original gallery shows developer backtests and strategy presentations. The newer mode guide uses real-tick testing, a $10,000 starting balance and 2% risk per trade with all three strategies enabled. Different periods, modes and sizing explain why headline results differ. These tests were not independently reproduced for this review.

MQL5 customer feedback

Two MQL5 reviews were visible. Ahmed’s September feedback praised support and promising tests while explicitly leaving a performance follow-up for later. A longer review by kwikky69 described personal backtesting and support in detail. Both are favourable customer opinions; neither establishes that another buyer will reproduce the reported test or live outcome.
