Project Evolution Breakout Scalper MT5 combines EURUSD and USDJPY breakout strategies in a single-chart portfolio for MetaTrader 5 hedging accounts. Its multi-currency testing option helps examine how the selected pairs and timeframes behave together.
- MT5 hedging-account requirement stated by the developer.
- Portfolio testing with Multi_Currency_BackTest.
- Fixed lots or percentage-based balance scaling.
Evaluate the portfolio inside MT5
The recommended combinations are EURUSD and USDJPY on H1, H2, H3, H4 and H6. With Multi_Currency_BackTest enabled, the source describes a test across the portfolio; disabling it tests the selected currency and timeframe. Use the developer’s All Ticks recommendation and realistic spreads before comparing a combined run with individual components.
Check account mode before choosing this edition
The MT5 source explicitly requires hedging support. Confirm this with the account specification before loading the file. The EA coordinates trading from one chart and uses a start/finish range of Magic identifiers. Give that range room to remain separate from other systems on the same account.

Sizing and costs can change the result
Use_Risk_MM and Percentage_Risk scale lots with balance; Fixed_Lot is available when that option is disabled. Max Spread, a temporary entry pause and spread-to-stop adaptation help control execution conditions. A larger lot raises the monetary effect of both successful and failed breakouts, even though the developer describes the system as having no grid or martingale.
Standard portfolio versus custom symbols
The linked guide distinguishes built-in configurations from Use_Custom_Symbol mode. Some exits remain coded internally in the standard mode; custom mode makes further settings available. Customising a market should therefore be followed by a separate test rather than treating the displayed two-pair report as evidence for it.

Understand the historical reports
The supplied gallery contains older MT5 simulations with two symbols, not a current independent track record. One long report covers 2015–2022 and uses balance-scaling settings. The linked live signal is no longer available. The shared review explains the difference between compounded test growth, monetary drawdown and relative drawdown.
