Neo Delta EA MT5 is worth examining through two choices: the modules you enable and whether you add its optional recovery behaviour. Our review connects those decisions to the developer’s two backtest illustrations and a public signal with only six trades. The aim is to understand what each piece of evidence actually helps you decide.
Our assessment: the module controls offer a practical way to define a setup. The strongest comparison available is the tradeoff visible between the two historical illustrations; the short signal record is useful for inspecting individual outcomes, but too small to establish trading quality.
Review scope: CheaperForex sells Neo Delta through managed installation. This review uses public sources and genuine captures checked on 9 September 2026. We have not run the EA or reproduced the developer’s tests. Official Neo Delta listing.

What the entry description tells you
The author describes an entry decision based on volume-delta momentum, reviewed by a machine-learning filter. That explains the intended concept, but does not identify a training dataset, model-validation method or verified exchange-volume feed. We assess it as a product description, not an independently measured prediction advantage.
For a practical evaluation, keep the enabled module combination with the results. Changing direction or timing choices changes the question being tested. A setup that rarely trades should be examined against its own conditions before you enable more activity just to make it busier.
Recovery changes the position, not just its label
If deliberately enabled, recovery can add one same-direction order at double the initial volume to a losing module, sharing its stop. The author describes this as averaging. The limit is per module; it is not proof of a two-position cap across the entire EA.
The useful configuration record therefore includes the recovery switch and its threshold. Compare a run with recovery enabled against its own settings history; do not treat it as the same exposure simply because the base order size stayed unchanged.
Two developer backtests show a concrete tradeoff
These are original images from the developer’s gallery, not CheaperForex tests or live results. Both display a USD 1,000 starting amount, an UltimaMarkets ECN label and 96% history quality. The chart axes span January 2025 to July 2026; the current software build is not identified.

| Measure | Default | Recovery enabled |
|---|---|---|
| Trades | 440 | 471 |
| Profit factor | 5.84 | 5.45 |
| Relative equity drawdown | 9.32% | 14.97% |
| Net profit | USD 29,092.13 | USD 58,101.35 |
The recovery illustration has the larger profit figure, but also higher drawdown and a lower profit factor. That is a more informative comparison than selecting the steeper curve. The screenshots do not establish that every other input was identical, so we cannot attribute the entire difference to one switch.
If you investigate the configuration yourself, retain the inputs, broker data, costs and execution assumptions with each run. A historical chart is useful evidence of that particular test; it cannot supply an expected monthly income for a new account.
Neo Delta Default: inspect the six trades

The record showed 8.08% growth, USD 40.40 profit and a USD 540.40 balance from USD 500 initial funding. There were six trades: five winners and one loser. MQL5 displayed warnings about the small sample, new account and low activity. The description says “Default Settings”; we did not independently verify its full input inventory.
Its 83.33% win rate needs the loss-size context. The worst trade was −USD 33.51, while the average profitable trade was USD 14.82. That one trade exceeded the value of two average winners. This arithmetic explains why counting wins alone is incomplete; it does not forecast the next sequence.

| Drawdown field | Reported value |
|---|---|
| Maximum by balance | 6.71% / USD 33.57 |
| Relative by balance | 5.07% / USD 25.33 |
| Relative by equity | 0.42% / USD 2.18 |
The overview’s rounded 5.1% is the relative-balance figure, not the maximum-balance measure. Likewise, presenting 0.42% as the account’s overall loss experience would omit the other fields. Keep the labels instead of choosing whichever percentage looks most attractive.
News setup and the new Trade Comment control
Before activation, confirm the exact news address required by the installed build and inspect its connection status. We found no Neo-specific public manual or address in the listing, comments or linked profiles. That is a setup detail to resolve, not a reason to guess a service endpoint.
MetaQuotes documents that WebRequest cannot run in Strategy Tester. We did not verify Neo’s mechanism for historical external news; the gallery images alone do not answer that question.
The 9 September release note identifies current version 1.20 and adds a Trade Comment prefix. A recognisable label can help organise your trade review. It is not a substitute for the complete configuration record or evidence of better performance.
How much weight to give early feedback
tbping8227’s 8 September feedback welcomes a first trade and support while explicitly reserving judgement. Other written entries are favourable but similarly early. Of five entries, one has no written comment and belongs to the support account named on the listing. We therefore do not present all five as independent performance evidence.
Neo Delta versus Lizard: compare the entry and recovery choices
Marco Scherer publishes both products. The current Lizard description centres on structural swing breakouts and pending-stop entries, and expressly excludes loss averaging. That is a meaningful distinction from the optional recovery discussed here.
If you already use Lizard, start with those differences rather than assuming that familiarity with the author makes the inputs transferable. Both concern gold; shared authorship does not demonstrate diversification or similar future returns. Our Lizard EA MT5 review examines that product, and its purchase page covers the separate offer.
Who is Neo Delta most useful for?
It is most relevant to someone willing to define a module configuration and inspect how recovery changes exposure. The historical illustrations give that buyer a specific comparison to investigate. The current signal adds a small set of real observations, with too little history to validate the wider strategy.
CheaperForex’s $59 managed installation supplies the latest available MQL5 build, with updates you can install yourself. See the Neo Delta product page for delivery and first-setup steps.
Neo Delta EA MT5 review FAQs
Does “volume delta” prove access to exchange order-flow data?
No such data-feed specification was established in the public material we reviewed. Treat the description as the author’s account of the entry concept, rather than proof of access to a particular exchange feed.
Do four modules guarantee diversification?
No. Different entry choices still operate in the same gold market. Evaluating diversification would require examining their behaviour together; the module count alone does not show how closely their results move.
Does three times the lot volume mean three times the loss?
Not necessarily. The additional order has a different entry price, so distance to the shared stop also matters. Calculate exposure for the actual positions instead of converting a lot multiplier directly into an exact loss multiplier.
Can a high win rate coexist with a meaningful loss?
Yes. Win rate counts outcomes, while the size of each outcome determines its financial effect. Read average gains, losses and drawdown alongside the percentage of winning trades.
Will the news filter behave identically in a backtest?
That was not verified. MetaQuotes documents that WebRequest cannot run in Strategy Tester. A product needs a separate mechanism if it uses historical external news data there; the screenshots alone do not establish Neo Delta’s implementation.
Can I copy my Lizard configuration into Neo Delta?
Do not assume the controls or values map directly. Compare each product’s own settings and record the intended behaviour before changing a live setup. Shared authorship does not make configurations interchangeable.
