Quick Summary:
XT Bitcoin Robot EA MT4 by MQL Tools brings automated BTCUSD (Bitcoin) trading to MetaTrader 4, operating on the H1 chart. It is a separate build from the MT5 edition, compiled for MT4’s execution model and delivered as a standalone file. Risk is defined rather than open-ended: no position opens without a take profit and stop loss attached, an account-level maximum drawdown percentage limits total exposure, and entries are suspended around high-impact economic news. ADX filters entry quality, the trading schedule is yours to set, and a chart panel keeps spread, session, volatility and daily performance in view.

Why the MT4 Build
- Crypto automation without leaving MT4 — dedicated BTCUSD trading on a platform where credible Bitcoin systems are comparatively uncommon
- Compiled specifically for MetaTrader 4 — a distinct executable rather than a port, matched to MT4’s order handling and broker compatibility
- Nothing left open-ended — take profit and stop loss attached to every position at developer-tested levels
- Account-level circuit breaker — a maximum drawdown percentage caps total exposure beyond individual trade risk
- Sits out the worst of the news — entries suspended for an hour either side of high-impact releases, with the calendar shown on the panel
- Directional filter on entries — ADX confirmation rather than acting on every signal
- Your schedule, your hours — include or exclude any weekday and define trading hours, or leave it running continuously
- Light configuration — around three parameters typically need attention, with documentation in ten languages
- Long-standing developer catalogue — MQL Tools also publishes DAX Robot, Big Forex Players, Scalping Robot Pro and AI Prop Firms, all stocked here
Operational Panel

Rather than hiding its state, the robot surfaces it. The panel reports the day’s pips, profit and trade count, whether the news filter is currently holding entries back, the prevailing spread, the volatility reading, the active session and your chosen risk level, with the next scheduled releases listed beneath. Because Bitcoin spreads swing widely between brokers and sessions, seeing the live figure alongside the robot’s status is genuinely practical. Buttons for closing positions manually are built in.

Risk Disclaimer
Bitcoin is one of the most volatile instruments a retail trader can access: spreads are wide, the market never closes, and price can gap violently. The protections in this robot are real — a take profit and stop loss on every position, plus an account-level maximum drawdown cap — but they reduce risk rather than eliminate it, and no automated system can make a volatile instrument safe. This is also a very new release with no established live track record and no public MQL5 live signal at the time of writing, so how it behaves in real money across different market regimes is not yet demonstrated. The developer’s published backtest reports a win rate and profit factor that live trading will not reproduce, and the same report records a relative equity drawdown above 60% at one point in the test — a figure worth far more attention than the headline profit. Choose a low-spread broker, keep leverage and position sizing modest, prove it on demo before risking capital, and never trade money you cannot afford to lose. Past performance is no guarantee of future results.
